Annotated Bibliography

  1. Citation- A way to identify where information comes from that's put on an article. By putting this on an article people can go to the site to look up where they got their facts from.
  2. MLA Format- The style that many journals and scripts have to be submitted in.
  3. Works Cited Page- It is an additional page added to the end of a research paper.
  4. Annotated Bibliography- Is the summary of all the resources used in an assignment.
  5. Quoting- A segment that is identical to the original and is attributed back to the author
  6. Paraphrasing- putting a passage from a source in to your own words. Condensing a story from a much broader source.
  7. Summarizing- Taking a broad overview of the entire thing and making it in to your own words.
  8. Plagiarism- The practice of taking the ideas of another and making them your own, used for cheating.
